Advance Leadership Skills

The main purpose why Christian Life Development Program created in order to build leaders for God's Kingdom. These core leaders will undergo the CLDP to attain leadership skills everyone desiring for. Yes, everyone of us could be a leader but not all of us are in-born leaders. Some undergoes enhancement training skills to become an effective and fruitful leaders.

Below defines what is leadership, the different categories of leadership, levels of people and the principles of work development as lectured by Ptr. Pamulo.




WHAT IS LEADERSHIP?

John Maxwell states that;

“Leadership is influence - nothing More, nothing less”. Yes, leadership is influence"

(The Key to success in any endeavor is the ability to lead others successfully. Each one of us needs instruction from a friend, teacher, leader or a pastor that could help us to be wiser and righteous. In Proverbs 9:9 “Instruct a wise man and he will be wiser still; teach a righteous man and he will add to his learning.”)

However, a study of the Gospels reveals that leadership development is an intentional process that is dependent on a leader committed to investing in the training and development of others.

99% of all employees want to do a good job. How they perform is simply a reflection of the one for whom they work. Some output of an individual depends upon how their mentors taught to them that is why Paul gives warning against false teachers of the law. 1 Timothy 1:7 states, “They want to become teachers of the law, but they do not know what they are talking about or what they so confidently affirm.

In addition, CLDP was created to train and equip God’s servant to become an effective leader in the church.

Four Categories of Leadership

1. Leading Leader

· Born with qualities

· Leader since birth

· Learn leadership in others

· Have self discipline to become leading leader

2. Learned Leader

· Learn leadership modeled most of life

· Learn leadership through training

· Has self-discipline

3. Latent Leader

· Recently seen leadership modeled

· Learning to be a leader through training

· Has self-discipline to become a good leader

4. Limited Leader

· No experience

· No exposure on training

· Has the desire to become a leader

What Kind of Leader are we?



Three Levels of People

  • The people who works people is a FOLLOWER
  • The people who work people better is a MANAGER.
  • The people who develops better people to work is a LEADER.
